Thunder in Cathedral Canyon
A recently completed oil painting of a narrow gauge locomotive in a Colorado canyon. My inspiration for this painting came from drives through Phantom Canyon enroute to Cripple Creek. While I didn't set out to replicate the Florence and Cripple Creek or Phantom Canyon the influence of my trips through the canyon certainly had an influence. The painting is in oil on gallery wrap stretched canvas, 20 x 16 inches.
This painting was selected for inclusion at the Western Spirit Art Show and Sale in Cheyenne, Wyoming held by the Cheyenne Frontier Days Old West Museum, opening March 5th, 2011.

Oil on Belgian linen panel 12 x16.
Here is my interpretation of the EL railroad drawbridge over the Hackensack River. This is a small, simple painting of the bridge as it looked late on a early spring afternoon.
